What happens when an e-Car's battery runs out of charge?

In this case, e-Cars behave in exactly the same way as conventional cars: with an empty "tank," the e-Car won't move an inch.

However, refueling a car that runs on fossil fuels is fairly quick and easy. To recharge a depleted e-Car battery takes much longer, and you can't just go and get a "canister" of energy that instantly revives your engine. Scientists and engineers are hard at work trying to find a solution to this problem. Together with our "Lebensland Kärnten" partner ÖAMTC, we are currently developing breakdown scenarios in order to optimize our response time, and to provide quick and competent assistance to e-Car drivers.
